After my time at Cloud Imperium Games, I wanted a new challenge, and so took a role at Splash Damage games as a game designers, to continue learning and developing my skills within game design. Building on their 20 years of experience, my time at Splash Damage allowed me to further develop my skills as a game designer by learning from some of the best latent in the industry
Responsibilities:​

Game design proposals to pitch with directors for a multitude of systems (E.g Missions, Player interaction, progression)

High level game design documentation for engineering implementation

Outlining all requirements such as user feedback, AI requirements, player verbs and required parameters ​

Gameplay objective prototyping in blueprints and finding the fun in our concepts

Asset and narrative alignment in alignment with content pipelines

Balancing of mission systems through data tables and worksheets to be imported into UE4
-
Coordinating with combat and boss teams to integrate new content into missions

Running team and wider project playtests to collect quantitative and qualitative data to rationalise design direction

Present the teams work in bi-weekly project show & tell meetings
