After learning the technology and tools used within CIG in my personal time I created a prototype mission which I was able to present to the live design leads, based off this work I was given a promotion from QA into a live game designer, where I quickly moved up to Live game designer after recommendations from both my lead & game director.
Responsibilities:

Using visual scripting within our subsumption editor to set up mission flow and objectives

Create mission design documentation to present and pitch to other departments

Assisting senior / lead designers with logic set up and script reworks based off new tech and tools

Updating mission difficulty, flow and rewards based off feedback from QA and our player base

Assisting in asset creation using in house entity and object setup tool

Prototyping mission logic within the Lumberyard editor ensuring multiplayer aspects are taken into account

Discussions with different departments to clearly inform on what tasks will be required for mission polish

Setting up FPS and Ship based combat scenarios to generate engaging combat for the player
